At Icy Bay lodge we host a variety of activities. In the spring we host birders, photographers and wildlife viewers. This spring we hosted a group of surfers and a group of mountaineers. We were fortunate enough to be a part of the movie Vertical Rush, produced by Planet Watch. The film documents a team of climbers that make it to the Peak of Mt. St. Elias and Ski down. They are the first in history to acomplish this feat and survive.

During the spring and summer Icy Bay is home to Migratory Birds. We host groups studying birds. We specialize in guiding groups of photographers that want pictures of birds, wildlife and scenery.
